Here are a few pictures of our newly renovated condo.  It is only 500 square feet but is a very efficient use of space.  With two bunk beds, a queen sofa sleeper and a queen size Murphy bed, it sleeps six very comfortably while everything tucks neatly out of the way in the daytime.  The full kitchen allows you to stay ‘home’ and cook up a gourmet meal or just tend to some serious snacking.  The condo has south and east facing windows that open for fresh air, a gas fireplace and hot water base board heating for quite warmth.  Cable TV is provided and the unit has a DVD player.  Down the hall is where the Jacuzzi is located and a laundry room is on the floor above. 

 

When we don’t put the roof box on the Excursion, we can drive into the underground parking which is very convenient. This saves you from having to scrape the windows in the winter should you feel the urge to leave your little paradise and head into Frisco (8mi), or Silverthorne (10mi) and Dillon (11mi).  We haven’t done it yet, but Vail is just 20 miles west of the condo on I-70.
